Some members utilize their Chamber membership to become more involved in the local community. The Lorton Holiday Extravaganza and the Lorton Spring Fling are two huge community events where, through the SFCC's sponsorship, our members are able to participate and be represented.
The key to gaining whatever ROI you want for your business is to take action. As your Chamber Chair, I've had members say they would like more leads from the Chamber and my response is, "Are you taking steps to help facilitate that? Are you attending any of our networking STIR events? Are you sending in your business info to be shared on the Chamber's social media? Do you utilize the Pocket Mobile Assistant that comes with every Chamber Sustaining Membership?" While the Member Directory on the Chamber's website may send leads your way, if you hope to gain substantial leads from the SFCC, these other strategies may work for you, but you have to be willing to participate.
The Chamber Board is here to help facilitate your ROI. Together, the Board and the Chamber membership can help us all to gain the return on investment we each desire.
