Casey Whitmarsh SFCC Chair |

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support the Chamber Board and membership has provided me as your Chair over the last year. Your unwavering encouragement and assistance have made a significant impact, and I am truly thankful.
It's often easy to overlook the importance of a strong support system, but I want you to know that your presence and support have been invaluable to the Chamber as a whole. The SFCC depends on its members to participate and support where they can.
As we each navigate the ups and downs of business, it is vital that we keep the Chamber strong. You can do that by taking advantage of the regular Brand Awareness offerings. Purchasing an ad in the SCHS Athletic Booster Sports Program or on the Chamber's flyer insert allows the Chamber to keep offering member benefits. |

Sponsorships are another revenue stream we count on to be able to continue offering complimentary networking opportunities as well as the Chamber's participation in the local community. Current sponsorship opportunities include the upcoming November Networking STIR at the Laurel Hill Golf Club on November 16. Join us for light refreshments while we network and honor our local military veterans.
I hope you will also consider supporting our efforts to be a part of the largest holiday community event in the local area, the upcoming 18th annual Lorton Holiday Extravaganza attended by 3,000+. The SFCC sponsors a breakfast for the 190+ small business owners on the morning of the Extravaganza. Chamber members have the opportunity to be represented on the welcome sign at the Vendor Appreciation Breakfast, in the Chamber's booth at the Extravaganza and on the full-page color insert which goes into Chamber-branded shopping bags handed to shoppers as they come through the door. For more information on any of these opportunities, email our Executive Director Carla Olivo at SFCCExecDirector@gmail.com.
I hope to see each of you at the Salute to Veterans Networking STIR on November 16!

October Networking S.T.I.R. |
Huge thanks to Rhian Evans Allvin, Founder of the Brynmor Early Education and Preschool and her dedicated staff for hosting the Chamber at their beautiful, new facility for our October Networking S.T.I.R. It was exciting to tour the state-of-the-art classrooms and play areas. As one Chamber Member said, "It almost makes you want to have more kids!" Hmmm....ALMOST! |
