As we approach the end of another transformative year, I find myself reflecting on the remarkable resilience and collective strength that defines our community. 2023 has been a year of growth for the Chamber.

The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce has always been a hub for connection and support for our members, and this year was no exception. We've welcomed several new members this year, celebrated grand openings and ribbon cuttings and reconnected with each other at several networking events throughout the year.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you for your resilience, dedication, and commitment. Whether you are a long-standing member or a recent addition to our Chamber, your contribution is invaluable. We are not just a collection of businesses, but a united force in the South Fairfax community.

As we approach the new year, let us carry forward the lessons we've learned, the bonds we've forged, and the innovation that has emerged from our collective efforts. The Chamber will continue to be a platform for growth, collaboration, and prosperity. Together, we will build on the successes of this year and create an even brighter future for our community.

I wish you all a joyful holiday season surrounded by loved ones, and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges that the coming year will bring. May it be a year of continued growth, success, and shared achievements.

Thank you for being an integral part of the SFCC family.

November Networking S.T.I.R. Salute to Veterans

Our 3rd annual Salute to Veterans networking STIR was a great success this year. It was wonderful to recognize and thank veterans from the community as well as from our membership. Special thanks to Steve and Elena Jordon of the Emma Jordon Kidz Fighting Cancer Foundation for presenting challenge coins to our veterans.

The Chamber was honored to have 11th District Congressman Gerry Connolly and Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Jeff McKay in attendance.

The Chamber also collected clothing donations for Boots to Suits, a nonprofit assisting military veterans entering the civilian workforce. Once again, the South Fairfax community offered great support. Boots to Suits Founder Sue Farrell was overwhelmed and thankful for the Chamber's efforts. Thanks to the South County High School Military Connected Youth for helping with the collection of donations.
