As we wrap up another year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible achievements of our Chamber and the community we serve. This year has been one of growth, resilience, and collaboration, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our members, partners, and dedicated team.
December is a time for reflection and celebration, but it’s also a time to look ahead. As we plan for the coming year, our commitment remains steadfast: to support local businesses, foster meaningful connections, and advocate for the growth and success of our community. |

I encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities the Chamber offers—from networking events and marketing opportunities to community initiatives. Together, we can continue to strengthen our local economy and make a lasting impact. "Resilient" is a word frequently used to describe military kids. It was the Chamber's honor to recognize these young patriots at our most recent networking STIR, our annual Salute to Service. What a privilege to meet and celebrate the local military-connected youth from South County High and all they contribute to the community and to each other.
On behalf of the Chamber, I wish you and your families a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year. Thank you for being a vital part of our community. I look forward to all we will accomplish together in the year ahead.

4th Annual Salute to Service |
The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce recently hosted the 4th annual Salute to Service, an annual business networking event highlighting and celebrating those who serve. This year the Chamber recognized local military-connected youth. Across the country, over 1.6 million military children face unique challenges and experiences due to their parents' service. The obstacles they encounter during their youth help build resilience that serves them throughout their lives.
Veterans were presented special Chamber Challenge coins, and everyone enjoyed the Silent Auction.

New Chamber member Lorton Springfield Dental Implant and Oral Surgery, alongside the newly launched Lorton Medical Spa, recently hosted an open house and ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of their brand-new facility at 7764 Armistead Rd.
Dr. Snehal Patel, DDS, MD, has been serving patients since 2012, with offices conveniently located in both Lorton and Springfield. The new Lorton office has relocated to a spacious, modern facility on Armistead Rd., complete with a fully equipped dental lab and cutting-edge digital technology. The aesthetic of the facility reflects a thoughtful blend of function and design, ensuring patients feel comfortable in a welcoming environment.
Alongside the oral surgery center, the Lorton Medical Spa is poised to provide a range of popular aesthetic and rejuvenation treatments. Services include dermafacials, microneedling, chemical peels, Botox, fillers, and more. The spa aims to provide high-quality treatments that enhance wellness and appearance, complementing the dental and oral surgery services offered next door.
Chamber members enjoyed a sneak peek at the med spa’s exclusive offerings, with special promotions available for those in attendance. |
PETITE SMILES Celebrates 1 Year!
Chamber member Petite Smiles is celebrating 1 year in business, a major milestone! At a recent open house young kids and adults alike couldn't get enough of the special invited guests, two alpacas who didn't seem to mind all the attention as they patiently posed for photos.
"Reaching this milestone is a testament to Dr Rashed and her entire team's hard work, dedication, and the value they bring to their clients, says SFCC Chair Casey Whitmarsh. "In just one year, they’ve made an incredible impact, and it’s exciting to think about the growth and achievements ahead. We are thrilled to have Petite Smiles as a SFCC member."
