Casey Whitmarsh SFCC Chair |
| I hope this message finds you well and enjoying a successful and refreshing summer season. As we reach the midpoint of the year, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what we’ve accomplished together and share what’s ahead for the coming months. First, thank you to all who have participated in our events and initiatives so far this year. From networking STIRs and ribbon cuttings to community partnerships, your engagement continues to make our chamber a strong and vibrant resource for local businesses. |

Summer is often a time to recharge and reset—and it's also a great time to re-engage. We encourage you to take advantage of the slower pace to connect with fellow members, explore new collaborations, or attend one of our upcoming events. Whether you’re a new member or a longtime supporter, there’s always something to gain from getting involved.
Next week I hope you will join the Chamber Board as we celebrate a fellow member business. This is more than just a photo op—it’s our chance to show our unity and remind the South Fairfax community what makes our Chamber so special. See below for details on Dynamic Foot & Ankle Center's 10th Anniversary Celebration and make plans to join us!
Looking ahead, we’re excited about the opportunities coming this fall, including our annual Salute to Service STIR and several community outreach events designed to support your growth and visibility. Keep an eye on your inbox and our website for announcements and registration links. As always, thank you for being part of our chamber community. Your dedication to your business and our region is what drives us forward. If there's anything we can do to support you this summer, don’t hesitate to reach out. Warm regards, |

1st annual Summer Palooza |
The South Fairfax Chamber of Commerce was proud to take part in the first annual Summer Palooza, hosted by Supervisor Dan Storck. It was a fantastic day of fun, community, and connection!
Chamber Chair Casey Whitmarsh, State Farm agent, sponsored the day’s lively entertainment, while SFCC member Trademasters brought their always-popular kids’ fishing pond, which was a huge hit with families. Vice Chair Brian Gottlieb led an enthusiastic team from State Farm running games and handing out prizes, helping create a joyful atmosphere for all ages.
Events like this are a great way for us to connect with our neighbors and continue our mission of supporting and promoting local businesses. Thanks to everyone who joined us—we can’t wait to do it again next year! |
