February is a month that reminds us of the importance of connection—both in business and in community. As we move further into the new year, I am encouraged by the continued engagement, collaboration, and energy of our Chamber members.

This is a time to strengthen relationships, explore new opportunities, and recommit to the shared goal of supporting a vibrant local business community.

Our upcoming events and programs are designed to help you connect with fellow South Fairfax Chamber members, expand your network, and gain valuable insights that can support your growth in 2026.

Thank you for your continued involvement and investment in the Chamber. Your participation is what makes our organization a strong voice for business and a catalyst for connection. I look forward to seeing you at the upcoming STIR on February 11 and working together in the months ahead.

Warm regards,

Casey Whitmarsh

Make Your Nominations Today!

There is still time to make your nominations for the 2026 Achievement Honors in the Member to Watch and Community Impact award categories. Help the Chamber to recognize fellow SFCC members and community members who are making a meaningful difference—through innovation, leadership, service, and a strong commitment to our local business community.

Recognize a fellow Chamber member or put your own name forward for the Member to Watch. Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged. The Member to Watch honors an emerging or growing nonprofit, business or professional demonstrating momentum, leadership, and promise.

Community Impact recognizes those in the South Fairfax community whose work, service, or initiative has had a positive and lasting effect on the NoVa community.

Nomination details can be found on the Chamber website and the links below. We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our members and the positive influence they have throughout our community. Your participation helps ensure these awards truly reflect the breadth and impact of our membership.

Deadline for Nominations is February 13, 2026.

Thank you to those Chamber members who stepped up to support the Chamber’s full-page ad in the South County high school sports program. This is a great way to support our local student-athletes while increasing your business’s visibility.

Thousands of families, fans, and community members see this program throughout the year. Your participation not only demonstrates a commitment to youth athletics and community pride but also positions your business alongside other Chamber members who invest locally.

If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to give back, build goodwill, and showcase your support for our schools and athletes, we are taking logo space reservations for the Spring program.
