We'll learn how to properly hold and play the ukulele, basic chords and melodies, and a couple of songs to share with you by the end of the week. Your child will learn the basics of note reading, rhythm skills, ensemble skills, and the basics of a ukulele. Potomac Music's Summer Adventures Series is specialized for children ages 6 - 12 with minimal to no experience playing an instrument and features games, sports, fun outside, arts & crafts, PLUS the basics of a ukulele. Campers will learn chords, rhythms, and a few songs to share with you at the end of the week. Class sets of ukuleles are provided; campers may also bring them from home.
