Sneak Peek Tour of the Brynmor Early Education & Preschool

Come for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the Brynmor Early Education & Preschool at the newly redeveloped Liberty Market. South Fairfax Chamber Members and their guests are invited to a sneak peek of this brand new facility. The Brynmor Early Education & Preschool, a new SFCC member, is set to officially open in mid-October. 
Feel free to bring a guest to join us for light refreshments and mingle with fellow Chamber members. RSVP for all by Sept 30, 2023. We look forward to seeing you at this exclusive event. Help us welcome one of the Chamber's newest members to the South Fairfax area!

The Workhouse Haunt, an immersive scare-inducing outdoor haunted trail, returns for its 10th year!. 

Fridays – Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27      7pm – 11pm.
Saturdays – Oct. 7, 14, 21, 28 7pm – 11pm.
Sundays – Oct. 8, 15, 22, 29 7pm – 10pm.
Tuesday – Halloween, Oct. 31 7pm – 9pm.
Petite Smiles Ribbon Cutting

Welcome a new South Fairfax Chamber Member, Petite Smiles Boutique Pediatric Dentistry as they cut the ribbon on their offices at Liberty Market.

Come meet Dr. Heba Rashed and her staff as they set out to deliver specialized, comprehensive oral health care to individuals from infancy to adolescence, including those with special health care needs. 

Network with fellow Chamber members, the SFCC Board and local dignitaries as we welcome another local business to the Chamber.

8th Annual Tour de Mount Vernon Community Bike Ride
10/21/2023
8th Annual Tour de Mount Vernon Community Bike Ride will be on Saturday, October 21. This year we will be riding in the northern portion of the Mount Vernon District, beginning and ending at George Washington’s Mount Vernon. There will be a 24-mile short ride and a 40 mile long ride, so riders of all levels are welcome. This year’s ride will be super exciting and scenic as riders will ride on the closed George Washington Memorial Parkway with beautiful views of the Potomac River. Riders will roll past Fort Hunt Park, Dyke Marsh, River Farm, Historic Hollin Hills and Gum Springs, Woodlawn and Pope-Leighey House, National Museum of the US Army, ride through Fort Belvoir and return on the Mount Vernon Memorial Highway Trail. This event continues to grow with the help of our partner, FABB - Fairfax Alliance for Better Bicycling. A key focus of the ride is to encourage community members and visitors to explore the many treasures and hidden gems of Potomac Banks: Explore Fairfax South. After the ride, riders and volunteers gather for comradery, music, yard games and La Prima’s Famous Sweet Potato Chili.

Potomac Music's Second Annual Fall Fest

Don't miss out on Potomac Music's Second Annual Fall Fest!

Fall Fest will feature live music all day in the Lorton Station Town Center Gazebo, local small business vendors, activities for the whole family such as pumpkin painting and outdoor games, face painting and glitter tattoos, food trucks, and a special outdoor menu from Hometown Grill.

Additionally, this event is a fundraiser for a local charity, the Lorton Action Community Center, to benefit families in our area.

Join LCAC on Sunday October 22, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at a delightful setting along the Potomac River for good wines, delicious food, and great company to raise money for LCAC’s programs.
